About The Position

Lincoln of Wayne is looking to hire a full-time Automotive Sales Consultant at our dealership in Wayne, NJ. As part of a family owned and operated luxury auto dealer in business since 1962, we are committed to providing an unmatched automotive buying and servicing experience and are proud to be a top volume dealership in the state!

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and able to stay knowledgeable about a variety of vehicles
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Driven to close the sale
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation (required)

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of automotive sales experience is a plus but not necessary
  • Lincoln / Ford-specific experience or knowledge is a huge plus

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for clients to communicate with about the dealership, available vehicles and other services offered
  • Ask probing questions and determine customer needs in order to match their expectations and identify up-sell opportunities
  • Educate clients on various makes and models in-house, including direct comparisons and up-selling opportunities
  • Accurately discuss pricing for purchasing or leasing new vehicles, maintenance scheduling, and more
  • Stay up to date on vehicle inventory
  • Work with management to establish sales goals for performance related compensation
  • Attend staff meetings, training and keep up with product knowledge on a monthly basis
  • Be enthusiastic about our dealership and help drive sales through quality interactions
