Hoselton Auto Mall is looking for a results-driven Sales Manager! Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and building strong teams. Our Sales Manager must have the ability to meet the highest standards in both sales and customer satisfaction. As a Sales Manager, you will help the dealership meet its unit sales quotas and its gross objectives on a daily, monthly and yearly basis while providing exceptional customer service. Hoselton is an established, high volume, multi-franchise dealer with an opening for the right person. POSITION SUMMARY The Sales Manager ensures that the dealership meets its unit sales quotas and its gross objectives on a daily, monthly and yearly basis. S/he will ensure that the retail units sold produce sufficient gross to aid the dealership in reaching its profit objective on a monthly and yearly basis. S/he will accomplish these objectives through planning, organizing, coordinating and measuring these activities of the vehicle sales departments .

Responsibilities

  • Manage showroom activities for your sales team.
  • Be an ambassador for the Nissan store and seek sales and profit with integrity.
  • Coach sales associates on how to meet and exceed sales targets by converting leads into sales opportunities.
  • Assist in merchandising and inventory control.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our automotive inventory, features, and specifications. This includes all vehicle options, financing, and aftermarket products.
  • Maintain current knowledge and accuracy of manufacturer rebates and incentives.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Nissan to dealer programs and spiffs.
  • Ensure the dealer meets or exceeds all Nissan corporate requirements.
  • Track daily and monthly sales targets and keep your team goal oriented.
  • Maintain data and reports for senior management.
  • Possess a customer centric approach when working with customers and staff.
  • Keep consistently high customer satisfaction scores.
  • Coach sales associates on how to provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial contact to vehicle delivery.
  • Hiring, scheduling and performance monitoring of the sales team.
  • Actively support employee development through coaching and career development.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
  • Work collaboratively with the finance department, and other departments to achieve sales objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

  • Promoting a culture of engagement through an open-door policy and other strategies that invite employee input
  • Actively supporting employee development through coaching and career development meetings with all direct reports. Training initiatives need to address technical as well as people skill development, and be consistent with manufacturer and Hoselton standards
  • Supporting and monitoring adherence to Hoselton policies and procedures
  • Staying current, complying with, and communicating all federal, state and local regulations pertaining to sales operations as appropriate
  • Promoting teamwork throughout all levels of the organization
  • Maintaining positive factory relations at all times.
  • Preparing department forecasts, setting objectives and developing plans to achieve them
  • Monitoring and addressing negative operating trends in a fashion acceptable to the factory and executive team
  • Assuring appropriate inventory by color, model and equipment based on a variety of customer and market analyses
  • Processing and maintaining incentive assignments on appropriate vehicles
  • Generating sales and gross profit that will equal or exceed determined objectives and goals
  • Collaborating with Marketing on strategies to develop sales campaigns and other strategies to achieve forecasts and other departmental goals
  • Controlling periodic spiff-based and other incentive programs to enhance profitability
  • Monitoring and controlling all departmental expenses to maximize profitability
  • Approving all weekly department compensation and managing employee paid time off
  • Leading by example, ensuring all Hoselton guests experience exceptional customer service
  • Resolving all guest complaints in an efficient and positive manner
  • Ensuring all areas are clean, safe, organized, and professional.
