The Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Sales Associates to deliver exceptional customer experience and achieve dealership performance goals. This role requires hands-on leadership, a passion for team development, and the ability to manage all aspects of the sales process — from customer engagement to deal structure and inventory planning. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to increase market share, optimize gross profit, and build a culture of excellence. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of automotive retail sales or management experience
  • Strong computer and CRM proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve monthly sales, profit, and CSI goals
  • Recruit, train, coach, and retain top-performing Sales Associates
  • Actively engage in daily operations, including desking deals and appraising trades
  • Oversee customer negotiation and ensure clear communication of purchase options and pricing
  • Collaborate with leadership to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, shortfalls, and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage controllable expenses and support dealership profitability goals
