About The Position
The Automotive Sales Lot Attendant is responsible for managing the flow of vehicles on the sales lot, ensuring inventory is accurately logged and maintained. This role involves lot merchandising, preparing vehicles for sale with correct pricing and information, and maintaining a presentable sales lot appearance. The attendant will also manage the back-overflow lot, assist with vehicle shuttling to vendors, dealer trades, and customer pick-ups. Additional duties include maintaining fuel logs and other reports as requested by the Location Manager.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- At least 20 years of age
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Belief in doing business with integrity, transparency, professionalism and teamwork
Responsibilities
- Control the flow of cars and manage inventory, including checking and logging new arrivals.
- Enter correct vehicle status in the fleet computer system.
- Responsible for lot merchandising, ensuring vehicles are front line ready.
- Ensure vehicles have correct pricing stickers, buyers guide, and frame plates.
- Park and align cars to maintain a presentable sales lot.
- Manage the back-overflow lot.
- Shuttle cars to vendors.
- Assist with dealer trades.
- Pick up customers when needed.
- Assist with maintaining the fuel log and other reports requested by the Location Manager.
- File reports as needed.
