About The Position

The Automotive Sales Lot Attendant is responsible for managing the flow of vehicles on the sales lot, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining the presentation of vehicles for sale. This role involves administrative tasks related to vehicle status updates, lot merchandising, and assisting with various operational needs such as shuttling vehicles, dealer trades, and customer pick-ups. The attendant also supports the Location Manager with reporting and record-keeping.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be at least 20 years of age
  • Flexibility in scheduling, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work any assigned shift based on operational needs
  • Internal candidates must have satisfactorily completed their probationary period and have excellent attendance and job performance.

Responsibilities

  • Control the flow of cars and manage inventory, including checking and logging new arrivals.
  • Enter correct vehicle status in the fleet computer system.
  • Responsible for lot merchandising, ensuring vehicles are front-line ready with correct pricing stickers, buyers guides, and frame plates.
  • Park and align cars, maintaining a presentable sales lot.
  • Manage the back-overflow lot.
  • Shuttle cars to vendors.
  • Assist with dealer trades.
  • Pick up customers when needed.
  • Assist with maintaining the fuel log and other reports requested by the Location Manager.
  • File reports as needed.
