About The Position

The Automotive Sales Inventory Manager will be responsible for managing the entire store inventory process, including reconditioning, photography, delivery, lot organization, and merchandising. This role involves ensuring all incoming vehicles are properly checked in, triaged, and managed through an efficient reconditioning process. The manager will also oversee lot organization, vehicle merchandising, and ensure all cars are properly photographed and appear online according to standards. Additionally, the role includes managing vehicle deliveries within time SLAs and coordinating with reconditioning vendors and fleet management partners.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in Auto dealerships and car sales
Valid Drivers’ License and a clean record
Capable of delivering
Able to succeed in a global, matrix organization
Desire to excel
Able to garner support from Stakeholders on all initiatives
Stable work history

Responsibilities

Manage the entire store inventory process including, reconditioning, photography, delivery, lot organization and merchandising
Ensure all incoming vehicles properly checked in
Triage new inventory as it enters lot
Manage an efficient reconditioning process, cost, quality and cycle times
Work closely with reconditioning vendors
Interact with Fleet Mgt partner (Wheels)
Maintain proper internal inventory controls
Work with fleet team to maintain target inventory levels
Work closely with GSM on daily production planning
Develop and maintain proper lot organization to facilitate efficient processes
Oversee proper vehicle merchandising
Create visual factory
Insure all cars are properly photographed and appearing online per standards
Reduce rejects and kicked cars
Follow up and promptly close all open items on the partner dashboard
Handle all communications from partners
Ensure vehicles are delivered within time SLAs
Set up trucking, if required
