About The Position

We are seeking a Sales Consultant who is hungry, tech-savvy, and guest-focused. You will be responsible for guiding guests through their entire vehicle purchase journey—from the initial greeting and vehicle demonstration to the final delivery. This is a high-volume environment where your income is directly tied to your effort and ability to build relationships.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and meet all state and dealership requirements for vehicle operation and sales activities.
  • Previous customer service, retail sales, hospitality, or relationship-building experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, build trust, and achieve performance goals in a customer-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport, present products effectively, use technology and CRM systems.
  • Manage multiple priorities and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or coursework in business, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Ongoing sales, customer service, or automotive industry training is a plus.
  • Automotive sales, one-price retail sales, CRM utilization, lead management, or commissioned sales experience preferred.
  • Experience delivering exceptional customer experiences and handling digital leads is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of automotive products, digital retailing tools, financing processes, and CRM platforms.
  • Strong negotiation alternatives, social media proficiency, self-motivation, prospecting ability, and a commitment to continuous improvement preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a world-class experience to every guest, whether they arrive in person, via phone, or through internet leads.
  • Become an expert on the Hyundai lineup and our pre-owned inventory to effectively match guests with the right vehicle.
  • Conduct needs-discovery interviews and professional vehicle demonstrations.
  • Follow our proven sales process to ensure consistency and guest satisfaction.
  • Utilize our CRM to maintain a robust pipeline and follow up with guests long after the sale is complete.
  • Participate in daily team huddles and ongoing sales training to sharpen your skills.
