CAPITAL Subaru of Greensboro is seeking a customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant who enjoys working with people and helping them make informed decisions. We believe the best customer experiences start with genuine conversations, and we're looking for someone who brings a warm, consultative approach to every interaction. In this role, you'll help customers explore their options, answer questions, and find a vehicle that fits their needs and lifestyle. Subaru customers tend to do their homework, so they appreciate someone who can provide guidance, share product knowledge, and serve as a trusted resource throughout the process. Requirements

  • Experience as a Salesman or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
  • Basic computer skills for managing customer information and sales transactions.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must pass pre-employment background screenings

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Understand customers' automotive needs and preferences to recommend suitable vehicles
  • Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial contact to vehicle delivery.
  • Negotiate and close sales, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Stay updated on the specifications, features, and benefits of the vehicles in the dealership
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets set by the dealership.
  • Participate in sales training programs to enhance selling skills
  • Other duties assigned
