About The Position
Walser Automotive Group is hiring customer-focused, motivated individuals to join their team as Automotive Sales Consultants and Automotive Service Advisors. This role offers a career with unlimited earning potential, paid training, and real opportunities for growth. No prior automotive experience is required, as the company provides a comprehensive, multi-week paid training program covering sales processes, product knowledge, and customer relationship skills. The average team member earns $70,000 per year, with potential for higher earnings based on performance. The position is full-time with a 4-day work week.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Past experience working with a high level of urgency
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience interacting with customers and providing a positive experience
- High level of detail orientation and accuracy
- Beginner to intermediate level of technical proficiency and experience using Microsoft office (outlook, excel, word)
- Proven experience working within a team environment
- Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Preference may be given to intermediate level skills in Microsoft office (outlook, excel, word)
- Tekion, Reynolds and Reynolds, or other Dealer Management Systems experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Guide customers through the full vehicle purchase process
- Conduct test drives and explain vehicle features
- Educate customers on financing and protection options
- Use CRM tools to manage customer relationships
- Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
- Act as the face of Walser service by greeting customers as they enter the service drive.
- Perform vehicle walk-arounds, record mileage and VIN numbers, transport vehicles to technician bays, and write-up repair orders
- Understand basic automotive repairs, know how long each service will take and how much the repair will cost
- Serve as the liaison between technicians and customers
- Work as a team with your service admin and technicians to generate working hours and provide an excellent experience for your guests
- Prospect and sell dealership services, coordinate current work in progress and support pre-delivery activities
