About The Position

J.B.A. Chevrolet is a family-owned dealership serving the Glen Burnie community since 1976. We are seeking an Automotive Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves helping customers find the right vehicle and delivering a professional, welcoming buying experience. It is ideal for motivated individuals who enjoy working with people, building relationships, and earning based on performance. Training and support are provided, and no prior car sales experience is required. If you have experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service and are ready to learn, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

  • Positive, customer-focused attitude
  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in retail sales, customer service, or hospitality
  • Automotive sales experience (a plus, but not required)
  • Ambitious mindset with interest in career growth
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking)

Responsibilities

  • Build lasting relationships with customers and create a positive buying experience
  • Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening to their needs
  • Demonstrate new and pre-owned vehicles in a professional, engaging manner
  • Develop strong knowledge of Chevrolet products, features, packages, and technology
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals
  • Learn to overcome objections and grow confidence in a sales environment
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager to track goals, activity, and performance
  • Bring energy, professionalism, and a positive attitude to work every day
