About The Position

Eau Claire Ford Lincoln is looking for an outgoing, dependable Part-Time Automotive Sales Assistant to support our sales team and help create an excellent experience for every guest. This is a great opportunity for a college student or someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in sales, customer service, and the automotive industry. In addition, you'll learn the ever-changing technology that is driving the automotive industry of today.

Requirements

Friendly, confident, and comfortable interacting with customers
Dependable, organized, and willing to learn
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Basic computer and technology skills
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

Automotive or sales experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and help connect them with the appropriate sales consultant
Demonstrate vehicle technology for new customer delivery
Assist sales consultants with customer questions and vehicle inquiries
Learn our Ford, Lincoln, and pre-owned vehicle lineup
Help conduct vehicle demonstrations and walkarounds
Accompany or assist with test drives, when authorized
Help prepare vehicles for customer appointments and deliveries
Assist with locating vehicles and keeping the sales lot organized
Follow up with customers by phone, text, or email as assigned
Support the sales team with day-to-day dealership activities
Learn the dealership’s sales process, technology, and customer-service standards
