Automotive Repair Technician
About The Position
AAA is seeking an Automotive Repair Technician to perform approved vehicle repairs and provide service that supports AAA Members. The technician follows industry standards and customer requests, ensures repair safety and accuracy, and contributes to a clean and safe work environment. The role includes verifying parts orders, conducting digital inspections, communicating with managers and technicians, and staying current with industry trends and repair procedures through training. AAA describes a growth-oriented workplace and offers access to professional development and benefits. Average technician earnings are stated as $72,500–$125,000.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Have at least five years’ experience as an automobile technician.
Nice To Haves
- ASE Master Certification.
- ASE L1 certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform approved repairs on vehicles.
- Follow industry standards and complete repairs as requested by customers.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow safety regulations, and report unsafe conditions.
- Keep up to date on industry trends and repair procedures and attend training.
- Verify parts orders, perform digital inspections, and communicate with managers and technicians.
- Ensure the safety and accuracy of repairs.
