About The Position

AAA Club Alliance is hiring an Automotive Repair Technician B to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of vehicles at its Fairfield, Ohio location. The technician performs repairs to manufacturer specifications or industry best practices, maintains technical knowledge and skills, and keeps work areas, tools, and equipment organized and compliant with safety guidelines. The role is full-time, five days per week, with Saturdays as part of the regular schedule, one scheduled weekday off, and Sundays off. Compensation is $23.46–$32.95 per hour flat rate, with a 20-hour weekly billable-hours guarantee and the opportunity to earn a $250–$550 productivity bonus every two weeks. AAA pays for ASE certifications and recertifications.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician with proven diagnostic and repair skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background, drug, and fitness-for-duty screenings if offered a position.

Nice To Haves

• ASE or dealership certifications in suspension and steering, brakes, and heating and air conditioning; alternatively, the ability to obtain these certifications within 12 months. AAA pays for the certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs involving suspension and steering, brake systems (including ABS and traction control), electrical systems, and heating and air conditioning.
• Maintain technical knowledge and expand skills to increase flexibility in assignments.
• Keep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment according to manufacturer and company safety guidelines.
• Plan and organize work for maximum efficiency, including vehicle movement.
• Complete repairs and maintenance to manufacturer specifications or industry best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Mentor and collaborate with the team.
