About The Position

The Production Technician performs repair and maintenance work across a wide range of vehicle systems, following established repair procedures and shop standards. The role emphasizes accurate, consistent, high-quality workmanship, thorough digital vehicle inspections and documentation, and adherence to shop safety guidelines and standard operating procedures. The technician communicates job progress, repair needs, and potential delays to service advisors and shop leadership; maintains a clean, organized workspace; and helps vehicles move efficiently through the shop. The position also includes available training and development opportunities to strengthen technical skills and support professional growth. The shop is locally owned and independently operated, with a team-oriented culture that values reliability, accountability, teamwork, and continued learning. Compensation is $25.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Perform repair and maintenance work across a wide range of vehicle systems, following established repair procedures.
Complete digital vehicle inspections (DVIs) and clearly, thoroughly, and consistently document findings.
Follow shop standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and repair standards on every job.
Communicate job progress, repair needs, and potential delays with service advisors and shop leadership.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and help vehicles move through the shop smoothly and on schedule.
Participate in available training and development opportunities to strengthen skills, improve performance, and expand automotive knowledge.
