About The Position

Nielsen Automotive Group is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our Prep & Detail Department. Whether you are new to automotive detailing or already have experience, this is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced dealership environment, develop your skills, and grow within the company. We are currently hiring Part-Time Prep & Detail Technicians at both entry-level and experienced levels.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Company and insurance requirements
• Ability to safely operate both customer and dealership vehicles
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work efficiently
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform the physical duties associated with vehicle cleaning and detailing
• Willingness to learn and maintain Nielsen Automotive Group quality standards
• Drug screening
• Background check
• Motor vehicle record and driver’s license verification

Nice To Haves

• Previous automotive detailing experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, and prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for the dealership lot
• Detail and prepare vehicles for customer delivery
• Wash and clean customer vehicles as needed
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of dealership vehicles
• Assist with general dealership and work-area maintenance
• Ensure vehicles meet dealership presentation and cleanliness standards
• Safely move and park vehicles throughout the dealership property
• Work efficiently during high-volume periods, including month-end
• Perform other duties as assigned
