About The Position

As the Automotive Pre-Owned Sales Manager at Mercedes-Benz of Loveland, you will lead and oversee the dealership's pre-owned vehicle sales operations. Your role is pivotal in driving sales growth, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and managing a dedicated sales team to achieve dealership goals. You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with customers, developing effective sales strategies, and collaborating closely with other departments to maximize profitability and inventory turn.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive sales management, preferably in pre-owned vehicle sales.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends effectively.
  • Familiarity with automotive sales software and CRM systems.
  • Highly motivated with a customer-focused approach.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the pre-owned sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for the pre-owned inventory.
  • Manage daily dealership pre-owned sales operations ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Oversees the efforts of used-vehicle salespeople to enhance the image and customer satisfaction ratings of the dealership.
  • Helps salespeople close deals.
  • Conducts daily and weekly sales and sales training meetings.
  • Enforces a 60-day turn policy. Appraises all incoming used vehicles.
  • Establishes and controls wholesaling activities.
  • Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, finance, and service departments to optimize sales processes and customer experience.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and address challenges.
  • Ensure inventory is properly displayed, priced, and maintained to drive sales efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate sales staff to cultivate a high-performing team.
