About The Position
Marshalltown Chevrolet is seeking a detail-oriented Lot Porter for its busy dealership. The role involves maintaining dealership inventory, detailing client vehicles as needed, inspecting vehicles for quality, and coordinating with sales and service to support on-time deliveries. The position requires careful handling of client vehicles and prompt reporting of damage.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory for the dealership.
- Detail client vehicles if needed.
- Follow dealership policy for the care and operation of client vehicles.
- Note vehicle damage and notify the service department within 24 hours so a claim can be filed.
- Perform quality control inspections of all vehicles.
- Coordinate with sales and service to ensure on-time deliveries.
