About The Position

As an Automotive Photographer, you'll be responsible for capturing high-quality photos of new and pre-owned vehicle inventory and ensuring vehicles are accurately and consistently represented online. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is comfortable with technology, enjoys working independently, and is eager to learn. Previous professional photography experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Requirements

• Comfortable using technology and learning new systems and photography processes.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple vehicles and assignments.
• Comfortable safely operating a variety of vehicles, including large trucks and SUVs.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Previous professional photography experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Photograph new and pre-owned vehicles according to company photography standards and best practices.
• Capture detailed interior, exterior, and feature-specific images that accurately showcase each vehicle.
• Transport, stage, and position vehicles throughout the dealership property and, when needed, to/from a nearby vehicle storage facility to complete photography.
• Safely operate a variety of vehicle makes and models, including large trucks and SUVs.
• Upload, organize, and maintain vehicle images within the inventory management system in a timely manner.
• Work closely with management, sales, service, and inventory teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date online vehicle listings.
• Manage daily photography priorities and schedules to ensure newly received inventory is photographed quickly and efficiently.
• Re-photograph vehicles when updated images are needed.
• Perform related vehicle merchandising and inventory support duties, which may include removing old stickers or other materials from vehicles prior to photography.
• Maintain photography equipment and follow company processes to ensure quality and consistency.
• Work with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining high-quality standards.
