About The Position

White Plains Honda is seeking a motivated and professional Automotive Parts Wholesale Advisor to join our parts department. As a Parts Wholesale Advisor, you will be responsible for coordinating wholesale parts sales, assisting customers at the counter, and handling incoming phone calls. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will assist in processing orders, managing inventory, coordinating deliveries, and supporting other dealership departments.

Requirements

  • One to two years of automotive parts experience in a retail outlet or dealership environment.
  • Customer-oriented with strong communication and phone skills.
  • Self-motivated team player who can work independently and efficiently.
  • Proficient with computers and basic software applications.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers at the retail counter and over the phone, providing accurate price quotes and product information.
  • Process wholesale orders online and via telephone, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Pull parts from inventory and place emergency orders as needed.
  • Prepare parts for daily shipment, delivery, or customer pick-up.
  • Maintain and verify "will call" and "back order" files weekly, returning or restocking parts as appropriate.
  • Solicit and develop wholesale accounts through phone contact.
  • Issue credits for returned parts, verifying original invoice details with approval from Parts Manager when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment.
  • Stay informed about new products and updates through ongoing training.
  • Participate in departmental programs such as Lost Sale Tracking and adhere to all company safety policies.
  • Report any workplace accidents immediately to management.
