About The Position

Honda Village is looking for an Automotive Parts Shipper & Receiver to join their team. We are part of the Village Automotive Group, which consists of several award-winning stores spanning Greater Boston (and now Colorado), representing brands such as Audi, Porsche, Volvo, Polestar, Koenigsegg, McLaren, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Maserati, Honda, GMC and CDJR. Requirements

21+ years old
Valid driver’s license with good driving record
Excellent communication skills between customers, dispatch, and employees
Basic safety knowledge and skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to repeatedly bend or stoop to floor-level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves with the use of a ladder when necessary

Automotive parts experience is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Receive and process material orders
Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices, or packing slips to ensure all items are received, not damaged, and validate into inventory
Schedule large shipments and coordinate logistics to ensure storage space for incoming items and presence of personnel to manage incoming shipments
Ensure all parts are promptly checked in
Locate and stock parts
Pull customer orders
Package and prepare parts for shipment
Process shipments using shipping software such as UPS and Shipping Easy, while utilizing documentation such as Bills of Lading (BOL)
Coordinate deliveries to customers, including boxing goods and addressing packages
Create delivery schedules for drivers
Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management
Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Verify invoice and purchase order for pick-ups
Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups
