Requirements

  • Strong understanding of dealership management systems Reynolds & Reynolds
  • Proven track record of growing sales, controlling expenses, and improving parts department profitability.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned region.
  • Strong analytical and financial management capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Automotive Management degree, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for parts departments across multiple dealership locations.
  • Develop and implement regional parts sales, inventory, and profitability goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including gross profit, inventory turns, obsolescence, fill rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure proper inventory management practices to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize obsolete inventory.
  • Lead recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management of Parts Managers and department personnel.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM manufacturers, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Analyze financial statements and operational reports to identify opportunities for increased profitability and efficiency.
  • Establish best practices and standardized operating procedures across all locations.
  • Collaborate with Service, Sales, and Fixed Operations leadership to improve overall dealership performance.
  • Conduct regular dealership visits to evaluate operational effectiveness and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Implement loss prevention and inventory control measures.
  • Oversee parts purchasing strategies and vendor negotiations.
  • Support new dealership acquisitions, transitions, and operational integrations as required.
