About The Position

Jim Glover Auto Family has an immediate opening for an entry-level Automotive Parts Delivery Driver. This position is responsible for safely picking up and delivering automotive parts and equipment for the dealership while providing professional, dependable service to our customers, wholesale accounts, vendors, and other dealership locations. Automotive or parts experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are looking for a reliable individual with a safe driving record, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to assist wherever needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Must have and maintain an acceptable and safe driving record.
Ability to read and understand instructions and delivery information in English.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with customers, vendors, and other employees.
Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.

Nice To Haves

Previous automotive parts or delivery experience is preferred but not required.
Forklift certification is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver automotive parts and equipment to customers, satellite locations, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
Maintain an accurate daily log of deliveries and pickups.
Load and unload the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
Turn in invoices, receipts, and other required paperwork at the end of each day.
Perform basic vehicle checks, including monitoring fuel and oil levels and keeping the vehicle clean.
Notify management when maintenance, repairs, or inspections are needed.
Assist the Parts Department with inventory, stocking, and organizing parts as needed.
Help maintain a clean and professional Parts Department.
Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service.
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain high ethical standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
