About The Position

Our Auto Value store of Sterling Heights, MI is currently seeking a person for a Part-Time local Non-CDL stocker/delivery driver position. This is a customer service position with many training opportunities for career advancement. A company vehicle is provided for this position. Day shift position. Shift time 7:30 am - 2:00 pm with rotating Saturdays. Must be flexible with scheduling. Working 19-29 hours. Company Store Delivery Drivers are the backbone of all store activity. They are out on the road building up professional, long-lasting relationships and communications with our Customers. By delivering each part correctly, safely, and in a timely manner, you show our customers that Service is the Difference!

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• No Major Violations and only one minor violation in last three years.
• Must be At Least 18 Years of Age
• Pass Physical & Drug Screen
• Able to lift and Carry up to 50 Pounds with Both Arms.
• Interest in Automotive Car Care

Responsibilities

• Handle yourself as a professional, set an example
• Good store communications with customer service follow-up
• Lift Merchandise up to 50 pounds with both hands for deliveries
• Record and process Customer returns
• Familiarity with local area roadways
• Always tell the customer what you can do for them
• Work with delivery system for top-notch service
• Notify manager of any problems with customers
• Store appearance (clean & organized)
• Help train less experienced team members.
• Keep management informed of competition
