About The Position

Capital Ford of Raleigh is looking for a reliable, customer-focused Automotive Parts Delivery Driver to join our team! If you're dependable, enjoy being on the road, and take pride in providing great customer service, this could be a great opportunity for you! As an Automotive Parts Delivery Driver, you'll be an important part of our Parts Department, ensuring automotive parts and supplies get to our customers safely, accurately, and on time. You'll operate company vehicles, follow established delivery routes, interact with customers, and help keep our Parts Department running smoothly.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to safely lift and move automotive parts and supplies
• Comfortable working independently while also being part of a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to pass required pre-employment background screenings

Nice To Haves

• Previous delivery driver experience preferred
• Automotive industry or automotive parts experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver automotive parts to customers
• Load and unload parts and supplies while ensuring proper handling and accuracy
• Verify orders and invoices before leaving for deliveries
• Communicate with the Parts Department regarding orders, delivery schedules, and any discrepancies
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery stop
• Collect payments for delivered parts when needed and maintain accurate transaction records
• Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
• Maintain a clean driving record and immediately report any accidents, violations, or incidents
• Assist with Parts Department tasks such as stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and performing inventory counts
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
• Assist with additional Parts Department responsibilities as needed
