About The Position

The company is seeking an Automotive Parts Counterperson to join their growing team. This role involves assisting customers with selecting required parts, suggesting companion items, and ensuring exposure to the full product line. Responsibilities also include managing parts inventory, determining availability, processing emergency orders, handling phone inquiries, providing pricing quotes, assisting outside sales representatives, and setting up daily orders for shipment, delivery, or pickup. The Counterperson will also support service technicians in selecting parts for repairs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Pull purchased from stock.
• If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer.
• Answer phone calls, provide pricing quotes and other information.
• Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
• Set up daily orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick up.
• Assist the service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process.
