About The Position

BRAM Auto Group is seeking an experienced Parts Counter Person for their RT 22 Honda location. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with leadership potential, a detail-oriented mindset, and a genuine passion for helping customers with their automotive parts and service needs. While prior automotive parts experience is a plus, entry-level candidates with a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. BRAM Auto Group is a large, family-owned business with a long-standing reputation in the Tri-State area, operating 13 dealerships across various brands.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving History.
High School Diploma or GED.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Great listening skills and empathy for customers.
Ability to adapt and maintain composure under certain circumstances.
Bring solutions and problem-solving skills.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Work in a team environment and collaborate with others.

Nice To Haves

Previous Parts Experience at a dealership.
Previous wholesale experience with Honda parts.
Technical or Trade school courses or degree.
ASE Certifications.
Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collision.
Knowledge of Dealership Management System, CDK a plus.
Entirely customer-centric (external/internal).

Responsibilities

Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter and over the phone.
Utilize parts knowledge to assist other team members in answering customer questions.
Provide outstanding customer care and interactions.
Welcome retail customers and engage them to ensure a positive consumer experience.
Use technology including computers, telephones, and web-based catalog systems.
Provide parts pricing and availability information to customers.
Make accurate selections of parts based on customer demand.
Follow management requests and instructions.
