About The Position

Drive your future at Auto-Wares Group of Companies as a Full Time Counter person! Join our team as a Full-Time Counter person! We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused individual eager to grow in a fast-paced environment for our Thirlby Stores in Wellston Mi. This position offers hands-on experience, professional growth opportunities, and a chance to contribute to our mission of delivering top-notch service every day. You will work closely with the Store manager to learn Assistant manager responsibilities. This position was created to coach and train to the next level up. Looking for experience in automotive and leadership. This is a 6 day work week. OT is guaranteed in the pay. Weekends are rotated.

Requirements

Previous 3 years experience in automotive field.
Customer focused with strong communication skills.
Must be at least 18 years of Age
Valid Driver’s License
No major violations
No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over 25 years of age, in the past 5 years if under 25 years of age
No more than one at-fault accident
Must be able to comply with all physical requirements of position including a pre-employment physical and drug test.
Able to lift and Carry up to 50 Pounds with Both Arms.

Assist store personnel in maintaining a clean and organized store appearance.
Contribute to the store’s daily operations by processing returns and assisting newer store personnel.
