About The Position
The Automotive Parts Specialist provides first-class service to walk-in customers and telephone traffic. He or she is extremely knowledgeable about automotive products and can accurately answer questions and satisfy customer requirements. The Parts Specialist uses a computerized system to identify and locate automotive products within the current inventory or from other sources (such as the internet, vendors, other dealerships, etc.) and arranges for delivery and installation. In addition to serving walk-in customers, the Specialist provides parts to our internal automotive technicians to support the Service Department. He or she monitors inventory to ensure adequate availability and handles returns.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience with automotive parts and accessories.
- Strong customer service performance record.
- Strong computer and internet skills.
- Effective oral and written skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Professional dress, speech, and behavior.
