About The Position

The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premier luxury automotive group, is seeking a Parts Counter Person with Rallye Acura! The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term position where they can utilize their automotive parts skills and knowledge to engage with a luxury client base, and be a part of an outstanding team!

Requirements

  • Clean and valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Dealership parts experience preferred.
  • CDK System experience a plus.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and organization skills.
  • Outgoing and patient personality with outstanding customer relations ability.
  • Professional personal appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Establish an ongoing support relationship with wholesale customers by answering questions and assisting them in obtaining needed parts.
  • Promote the sales of appropriate parts and accessories by accurately identifying the customer's needs and promoting the benefits of using genuine Acura parts.
  • Use parts equipment and information resources to accurately identify needed parts.
  • Achieve retail facility goals for parts sales by generating high: Sales of Acura parts and accessories, number of counter tickets and repair orders processed, parts and accessories sales per order, parts and accessories sales per counter ticket
  • Handle orders and requests for information efficiently via telephone as well as over-the-counter customers by understanding the Acura parts system and ordering procedure
  • Maintain and prepare records by handwriting invoices, maintaining customer back-order files, and receiving/ duplicating repair orders
  • Maintain inventory on shelves and in bins by reporting items needing to be reordered, identifying any discrepancies in stock levels, and returning unsold items to stock
  • Order non-stock or special order parts by preparing parts requisitions for these items
  • Follow up on special ordered items, and notify the customer and technicians when received
  • Follow up the sales process by issuing parts and accessories to mechanics and providing delivery service of orders using parts truck
