Requirements

3+ years of professional painting experience
Valid Driver's License
Must have your own tools
Ability to accurately color match and mix paint, preferably using Sherwin-Williams paint
Experience preparing vehicles and equipment for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
Ability to safely work from ladders and scaffolding
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Work Authorization
No security clearance required

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in automotive painting and repair, preferably in a dealership setting

Responsibilities

Mix paint to match manufacture’s specifications
Prepare surfaces for new paint application using manual and power sanding tools
Refinish damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with dealership quality specifications and time standards
Remove rust from metal, grease, and dirt from work surfaces
Paint surface using sprayer or brush as appropriate
Maintain tools and keep equipment clean and in safe working order
Maintain and wear all safety and protective wear
Comply with laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners and other hazardous materials
Cooperate and assist other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles
