About The Position

The Painter refinishes damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership quality specifications and time standards. This role is crucial for delivering extraordinary customer experiences and maintaining the high standards of BMW of Wilmington, a Penske Automotive Group dealership.

Requirements

  • Ability to use technical reference materials and technical manuals in written and online formats.
  • Ability to communicate technical terms to non-technical audience.
  • Ability to follow processes to ensure quality and safety.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize.
  • High school diploma or the equivalent and two-year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record (for some positions).

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and two-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • ASE Certification is preferred.

  • Refinish damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and dealership quality specifications and time standards.
  • Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials.
  • Report any deviations to management immediately.
  • Provide an unparalleled level of expertise, be an integral member of the paint department focusing on customer satisfaction while ensuring profitability.
