About The Position

Hope Auto Company is seeking a skilled Automotive OEM Technician to join our versatile service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards. We are looking for a well-rounded technician who is comfortable working on multiple makes and models, from domestic trucks to import sedans. Whether you are specialized in one brand or have a broad background in dealership-level repair, we offer a steady flow of work and a shop culture that values precision, efficiency, and a "fixed right the first time" mentality.

Requirements

Ability to commute to Hope, AR required
In-person position
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Previous professional automotive repair experience required (OEM/Dealership experience preferred)
2+ years of experience as a professional Automotive Technician.
Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced diagnostic skills.
Ability to operate a variety of shop tools and diagnostic software (OBD-II, etc.).
Professional work ethic and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Team-player attitude with the ability to work independently when needed.
Ownership of a professional set of automotive tools.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality automotive repairs and maintenance on a diverse range of makes and models.
Use advanced diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot engine, transmission, electrical, and drivability issues.
Execute repairs to OEM specifications to ensure vehicle safety and longevity.
Conduct thorough multi-point inspections and provide accurate repair recommendations.
Clearly document all diagnostic findings and work performed on repair orders.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in accordance with shop standards.
Stay current on automotive technology and industry trends through ongoing training.
