About The Position

Caliber Auto Glass has an immediate job opening for a Mobile Auto Glass Technician. This role involves performing all-purpose duties related to automotive glass, including replacement and repair, conducting pre and post-inspections with customers, utilizing various tools and scanning equipment, and completing documentation on a mobile device. The technician will also be responsible for removing and installing trim panels and interior parts without causing damage, and effectively managing time to complete daily tasks. Requirements

  • Be at least 21+ years of age
  • Have a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber’s insurance policy
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background and MVR checks
  • Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
  • Be able to understand instructions – written and verbal
  • Can prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions

Nice To Haves

  • Previous collision experience
  • Collision Vo-Tech certification

Responsibilities

  • Replacement of automotive glass by following quality standards
  • Ability to perform repairs on damaged glass
  • Complete a pre and post inspection with customer
  • May utilize various tools and scanning equipment
  • Complete documentation of repair orders on mobile device
  • Ability to remove and install trim panels & interior parts without damaging
  • Effectively prioritize and manage your time to complete assigned daily tasks
