About The Position

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking a dedicated, quality-focused Mobile Diagnostic Technician to provide service to customers. The role applies technical knowledge to assist customers, supports users of the Autel scanning unit by phone, answers questions about scanning procedures, and researches vehicle technology issues to explain and resolve them. The position may also involve other general duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of prior experience as a diagnostic technician.
• Must currently have or be willing to obtain the proper tools to complete assigned job duties.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including background checks.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Nice To Haves

• I-CAR certification.
• ASE certification.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge to assist customers.
• Answer inbound and outbound phone calls in support of the Autel scanning unit.
• Answer technical questions relating to scanning procedures for the Autel unit.
• Research vehicle technology issues to understand, explain, and resolve them.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
