About The Position

Group 1 Toyota West Bank is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Service Technician to join its dealership team. The role is suitable for people beginning their careers as well as experienced ASE- or manufacturer-certified technicians. The position involves repairing and diagnosing vehicles, communicating repair progress, maintaining a safe and organized work area, and keeping current with evolving automotive technology. Requirements

Prior dealership experience.
Automotive mechanic or technician experience.
Diagnostic and mechanical skills.
Tool proficiency.
Communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications are preferred.
Toyota certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards.
Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs.
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
Provide timely repair-status updates and estimated completion times to service advisors for customer communication.
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology.
