Kia of Lynchburg is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience to begin a rewarding career as an Automotive Service Technician through the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP). This structured program, created by Kia America, helps Military Veterans transition into the automotive industry. Participants gain hands-on dealership experience while completing a one-year competency-based apprenticeship that leads to Kia Service Technician certification. VTAP offers full-time employment at a participating Kia dealership, along with the necessary training, tools, and support to become a skilled automotive technician. The program is GI Bill® approved, enabling eligible Veterans to receive a Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) during their apprenticeship. As an Automotive Technician Apprentice, you will work with experienced technicians, developing the skills to diagnose, service, and repair Kia vehicles.
