Clift Buick GMC is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Master Technician to join our team in Adrian, MI. This role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $35.00 to $48.50, with pay issued bi-weekly. As an integral member of our service department, you will apply your advanced technical expertise to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Requirements

Current State Certifications & ASE Certification preferred
Keep shop area neat, clean, and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times
Self-Discipline & Self-Motivation
Current Valid Driver’s License
Must Pass Physical and Background Check
Certified Automotive Master Technician status, preferably GM-certified.
Extensive experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs, especially on GM vehicles.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs
Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required
Good communication skills and document all work performed
Work quickly and efficiently on customer vehicles
Consistent quality work performed with each job and inspection
Perform thorough diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on GM vehicles using manufacturer-approved tools and techniques.
Identify mechanical and electrical issues accurately and execute timely repairs to minimize vehicle downtime.
Maintain comprehensive records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to explain vehicle issues and repairs.
Stay current with the latest automotive technologies, service bulletins, and technical training.
