Automotive Maintenance Technician
About The Position
The Maintenance Technician is an entry-level role on a team that services vehicles at Firestone Complete Auto Care. The technician learns to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform scheduled maintenance and tire services, install batteries and shock absorbers, check electrical systems, and road-test vehicles. The position includes on-the-job training and access to company-funded ASE certifications. The listed pay range is $18.15–$28.36. Bridgestone states that employees are paid at least the applicable minimum wage. Full- and part-time benefits are available from day one. Requirements
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
- Valid automobile driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Reading, writing, and math skills.

- Experience in the automotive service industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical systems.
- Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
- Install tires and perform tire maintenance.
- Install batteries and shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
- Road-test vehicles.
