About The Position
The Maintenance Technician is an entry-level role and an integral part of a team that services vehicles at Firestone Complete Auto Care. The technician learns to perform basic automotive maintenance and repairs, including scheduled maintenance, tire services, and work on vehicle systems. The position requires the ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and a valid automobile driver's license. The listed pay range is $14.37–$22.45. Full- and part-time benefits are available from day one.
Requirements
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Reading, writing, and math skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the automotive service industry is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive issues involving brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical systems.
- Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
- Install tires and perform tire maintenance.
- Install batteries and shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
- Road test vehicles.
