About The Position

Ford Lincoln of Lafayette is seeking an experienced Automotive Main Line Technician to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. Ford or Lincoln experience is preferred, but technicians with experience in other OEM brands are encouraged to apply. Requirements

2+ years of automotive repair experience required
Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and repair manuals
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

Nice To Haves

Ford or Lincoln experience is preferred
Ford or Lincoln certification preferred (other OEM experience considered)

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs on vehicles
Accurately complete repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
Conduct test drives to verify repairs and ensure vehicle performance
Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding diagnostics, repairs, and timelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Stay current with factory training and certifications to maintain technical proficiency
