About The Position

Horne CDJR Safford is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians (A/B Level) for their growing service team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles with a focus on quality, accuracy, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostics, electrical repair, engine work, transmission repair, and mechanical troubleshooting, with a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional automotive technician experience
• A-Level or B-Level Technician experience
• Main line automotive repair experience
• Dealership and/or independent repair shop experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Electrical diagnostic and repair experience
• Engine repair experience
• Transmission repair experience
• General mechanical repair experience
• Ability to accurately diagnose complex vehicle concerns
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work efficiently in a production-based service environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Chrysler, Ford, GM, Chevrolet brands
• ASE Certification
• CDJR Certification

Responsibilities

• Diagnose customer vehicle concerns and determine necessary repairs
• Perform advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures
• Complete electrical, engine, transmission, and mechanical repairs
• Inspect vehicles and identify additional repair needs
• Determine required parts and communicate repair requirements
• Perform repairs efficiently and accurately
• Follow Fix It Right the First Time processes
• Perform quality-control inspections after repairs
• Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs when required
• Follow dealership and manufacturer repair procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Complete additional technician duties based on experience and certifications
