Liberty Ford is looking for motivated and dependable Lube Technicians of all experience levels to join our growing service department in Maple Heights. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Tools required to perform repairs and services.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to speak effectively.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- High School degree or equivalent preferred
- Valid Drivers license that meets dealership insurability requirements
- Walking/Standing for 6 to 8 hours in a shift
- Using hand and/or power tools and equipment consistent with industry standards
- Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching and climbing
- Lifting up to 70lbs.
- Possess physical and manual dexterity
Nice To Haves
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Prior lube technician experience is helpful but not required
- Team player with a customer-focused mindset
- Eager to learn and grow within the automotive industry
- Detail-oriented and safety-conscious
- Takes pride in quality work
- Trade or Vocational School certification
- ASE certifications a plus
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services
- Check and replace filters, fluids, and wiper blades
- Conduct tire rotations and tire pressure inspections
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections
- Use a computer for reference and training/testing.
