Liberty Ford is looking for motivated and dependable Lube Technicians of all experience levels to join our growing service department in Maple Heights. Whether you're just getting started in the automotive industry or already have hands-on experience, we provide the training and support you need to build a successful career. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Tools required to perform repairs and services.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Must be able to speak effectively.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • High School degree or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Drivers license that meets dealership insurability requirements
  • Walking/Standing for 6 to 8 hours in a shift
  • Using hand and/or power tools and equipment consistent with industry standards
  • Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching and climbing
  • Lifting up to 70lbs.
  • Possess physical and manual dexterity

Nice To Haves

  • Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus, but not required
  • Prior lube technician experience is helpful but not required
  • Team player with a customer-focused mindset
  • Eager to learn and grow within the automotive industry
  • Detail-oriented and safety-conscious
  • Takes pride in quality work
  • Trade or Vocational School certification
  • ASE certifications a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services
  • Check and replace filters, fluids, and wiper blades
  • Conduct tire rotations and tire pressure inspections
  • Perform multi-point vehicle inspections
  • Use a computer for reference and training/testing.
