About The Position

Horne Kia is committed to providing exceptional automotive service and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a dedicated Automotive Lube Technician to join our team in Gilbert, Arizona. This is a full-time, in-person position offering competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required.
  • At least one year of experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company policy.
  • Local state inspection license preferred.
  • Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and various weather conditions.
  • Capable of lifting at least 100 pounds.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate tools and controls.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must operate equipment and move vehicles safely and responsibly.

  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service following defined processes.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Perform lube, oil, filter changes, and multi-point inspections on customer vehicles with accuracy and quality.
  • Identify and assess any additional vehicle service needs and communicate them effectively.
  • Maintain clean and safe working conditions in compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Deliver excellent customer service through prompt and clear communication.
  • Protect the legal, financial, and moral well-being of the dealership.
  • Demonstrate integrity by upholding high ethical standards and professionalism in all work.
  • Support and teach fellow employees to foster a collaborative and successful team environment.
  • Operate equipment and handle vehicles safely and responsibly at all times.
  • Follow all management requests and participate in improving operational efficiencies.
