Job Details Salary: Competitive and based on experience Job Type: Full Time Location: Indianapolis, IN 46227 Position Overview As an Automotive Lube Technician at Hubler Chevrolet, you will perform essential vehicle maintenance services, including lubrication, oil and filter changes, and multi-point inspections. Your role contributes to customer satisfaction and dealership operations by maintaining a safe and professional work environment. Primary Duties Perform lube, oil, and filter changes with attention to detail and accuracy. Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and report additional service needs to management. Maintain cleanliness of vehicles during servicing and repairs. Ensure a clean and safe workplace complying with OSHA and EPA standards. Provide prompt and professional customer service to ensure satisfaction. Follow all company policies and management directives. Integrity and Professionalism Exhibit high ethical standards and professionalism at all times. Maintain punctuality, a positive attitude, and an organized work area. Promote teamwork and uphold company values by leading through example. Work Environment This role involves working in a shop setting with exposure to weather conditions, noise, dust, fumes, and chemicals typical of automotive service environments. Physical requirements include lifting up to 100 pounds and performing activities such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and occasional stooping or kneeling. Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Minimum of one year experience as a technician assistant or apprentice. Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company policy. Local state inspection license preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and varying weather conditions. Capable of lifting up to 100 pounds safely. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers effectively. Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching may be required. Required vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Must safely operate equipment and move vehicles as needed.
