The Automotive Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance services, including lube, oil, filter changes, and multi-point inspections to ensure customer vehicles are properly serviced. This role supports operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and a safe work environment while upholding the highest ethical standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record meeting company standards.
  • Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and weather conditions.
  • Capability to lift up to 100 pounds as needed.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching, talking, hearing, and manual dexterity.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Visual ability including close, distance, and peripheral vision, as well as focus adjustment.
  • Safe operation of equipment and vehicles in the work environment.
  • Demonstrates leadership by promoting ethics and teamwork.
  • Adheres to company policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Provides excellent customer service with professionalism and communication skills.
  • Exhibits integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Effectively communicates in both positive and challenging situations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform lube, oil, filter changes, and multi-point vehicle inspections accurately and efficiently.
  • Assess vehicle needs and recommend additional services when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace and ensure all vehicles are kept clean during servicing.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with customers and management regarding service status or concerns.
  • Adhere to OSHA and EPA regulations at all times.
  • Support team members by sharing knowledge and promoting a cooperative working environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Exhibit professionalism, a positive attitude, and strong work ethics.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Provide an orderly, neat, and safe work environment.
