Requirements
- Strong desire to build a career in the automotive industry
- Previous automotive, mechanical, or maintenance experience is a plus but not required
- Basic mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and grow through on-the-job training
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Basic computer skills preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services efficiently and accurately
- Replace oil filters, air filters, cabin filters, and other basic maintenance components
- Check and replenish fluids including coolant, brake fluid, windshield washer fluid, and transmission fluid when applicable
- Perform tire rotations and basic tire maintenance services
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs
- Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, batteries, wiper blades, and other basic vehicle systems
- Assist service technicians with shop operations and vehicle preparation when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow dealership procedures and manufacturer service guidelines
- Communicate maintenance findings with service advisors and team members
