About The Position
Kunes Auto Group is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to join our fast-paced service team. In this hands-on role, you'll perform oil changes, fluid checks, and routine maintenance to keep our customers' vehicles running safely and reliably. This is a great opportunity for candidates with basic automotive experience looking to build a long-term career in the automotive service industry.
Requirements
- 1+ years experience as a Lube Tech in a Quick Lube store or Dealership is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Nice To Haves
- Experience preferred but not required — paid training provided
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, lubrication services, and fluid checks with precision and efficiency
- Inspect vehicles for safety concerns and recommend necessary maintenance
- Replace oil filters, air filters, wiper blades, and other essential components
- Conduct tire rotations, pressure checks, and minor repairs
- Maintain accurate, detailed service records
- Communicate effectively with customers and service team members
- Stay current on service procedures, tools, and automotive technology
