As an Automotive Lube Technician at Madison Honda, you will perform lube, oil, filter, and multi-point inspections and services to maintain customer vehicles. You will contribute to a safe, clean, and efficient work environment while upholding the dealership’s high ethical standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) compliant with company policy.
  • Local state inspection license is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a shop environment, exposed to noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives.
  • Capable of lifting at least 100 pounds.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Must have close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Safe operation of equipment and vehicles is mandatory.
  • Demonstrates ethical behavior and promotes a cohesive team environment.
  • Adheres to company policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Provides efficient and fair service supporting customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform lube, oil, filter changes, and multi-point inspections to ensure proper vehicle maintenance.
  • Assess and recommend any additional vehicle service needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment following OSHA and EPA standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness of vehicles during service and repair.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with management and customers to achieve satisfaction.
  • Support team members through teaching and collaboration.
  • Perform additional job duties as requested by management.
