About The Position

Burlington Chevrolet, a trusted name in the tri-state area for automotive sales and service, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our growing service department. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing essential vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and basic inspections. You'll play a critical role in ensuring that our customers' vehicles run smoothly and safely.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic automotive knowledge and experience preferred, but not required (we provide training)
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Willingness to learn and grow within the automotive service industry
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks on various vehicle makes and models
Inspect and replace vehicle filters (air, cabin, fuel, etc.)
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and light repairs as required
Ensure proper documentation of services and repairs performed
Conduct multi-point inspections and provide reports to service advisors
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Work with a team to ensure timely and efficient service for all customers
Follow all safety protocols and shop procedures
