We are currently seeking a dedicated Automotive Lube Technician to join our team in Orange, TX. Job Details Salary: Competitive compensation (details provided during the hiring process) Job Type: Full Time Location: Orange, TX (In-person) Position Summary The Automotive Lube Technician is responsible for performing lube, oil, filter, and multipoint vehicle services with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. This role emphasizes integrity, safety, and efficiency in all tasks while supporting the dealership’s overall success.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is recommended but not required.
  • At least one year of experience as a technician's assistant or apprentice preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) according to company policy.
  • Local state inspection license is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to typical conditions such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, chemicals, and adhesives.
  • Capability to lift a minimum of 100 pounds.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate tools and controls.
  • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Visual acuity for close, distance, peripheral vision, and adjusting focus.
  • Safe operation of equipment and vehicles is mandatory.
  • Demonstrates ethical behavior and teamwork.
  • Adheres to company standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Provides efficient, fair, and cost-effective service.
  • Maintains professionalism and avoids conflicts of interest.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all lube, oil, filter, and multi-point inspections to accurately diagnose vehicle needs.
  • Identify and assess any additional vehicle service requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality service and promptly report any concerns regarding parts or processes to management.
  • Maintain clean vehicles during servicing and repairs.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA and EPA guidelines at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service through clear communication and timely service completion.
  • Carry out other job duties assigned by management as needed.
